So I have been playing ... (118). Wasteland2 with robots.

I shall exploit the header space to boost the signal of our GM's Gofundme campaign: https://www.gofundme.com/blueberrycreekrecovery

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Last time we properly made it through Titan's Canyon. This time we're wandering to the lands beyond it.

First a breather with preparational diddle-daddle, though. (These usually occur between more significant endeavours.)

Make it two diddle-daddles.

Finally, we made it to Damonta. So much to discover here!

First off, all the dead bodies all over the place. Also, murder robots. Everywhere.

Then we ran into that guy who's after all that gold. He decides to tag along. (In hindsight it would have been a better choice to wait with letting him out until the town was mostly cleared of murder robots. That's because Red tends to dole out friendly fire and you can't directly control him in an encounter.)

We also ran into that dude with a water truck. (There was also a goat.)

Then, disco. (I wonder if different choices at the canyon would present different situation at Damonta - as in: more folks would be in need of rescue instead of in need of a body bag.)

We got to fight a bunch of nasties. It didn't quite work out right away (see: Red & friendly fire).

Next big milestone - the hangar! (I wasn't actually trying to advance the main mission, just to check the local planes for gold.

Even though the hangar is buzzing with murder robots (some of them hidden in ambush), there is one major tactical boon to the hangar: it has just one entrance. If you can get the encounter going and your asses outta there in time, you can block the entrance, keeping the murder robots contained inside - and Red contained outside. It still took a bunch of tries to get ti working, though.

More murder robots!

There will still be more episodes to come; meanwhile, the whole playlist is over here.
